The Beijing-based newspaper Economic Daily recently wrote positively about Guizhou Financial City on its Facebook account – raising its profile and promoting it internationally.
Located in the Guanshanhu district of Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, Guizhou Financial City is home to the headquarters of 44 financial institutions and more than 200 financial service companies.
According to the Economic Daily, Guizhou Financial City has "the most important pool of funds, information and intelligence of Guizhou's financial industry".
Covering a total area of 5.9 square kilometers, it is understood to have a complete financial industrial sector and has other service companies such as law firms, audit firms, accounting firms, securities firms and internet finance companies.
The Guanshanhu district has been supporting the development of Guizhou Financial City by offering preferential policies for recruitment and taxation.
It has established residential quarters for new hires, including the Zhongtian Mingting senior talent apartment located near Guizhou Financial City.
The apartment block has 100 rooms to rent to high-level talent and teams working in the district.
Guanshanhu's financial service center has also built high-end premises in Guizhou Financial City to serve as an exchange platform for talent involved in financial expos held there.
Guizhou's first fund town – Guizhou Guanshanhu Fund Town – is also located in Guizhou Financial City. The funding town aims to attract capital and contribute to the high-quality development of the real economy. It is currently home to 20 fund companies with subscribed funds of more than 100 billion yuan ($15.04 billion).
Currently, Guizhou Financial City has dozens of star-rated hotels, as well as premium shopping centers and is close to parks, main roads, subway stations and the Guiyang North Railway Station, making it a great place to live and work.
