Guiyang city – capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province – will establish a digital travel industrial park in its Guanshanhu district, to promote the development of online car-hailing platforms.
The digital travel industrial park will be run by both government and online car-hailing platform companies, so as to improve the quality of services and protect the rights and interests of ride-share drivers.
It started construction in February and has already signed commercial agreements with 11 online car-hailing platforms.
When the industrial park opens for business, Guiyang will move to help reduce costs and increase the operating incomes of online car-hailing companies.
Moreover, it will protect the rights and interests of drivers, observe existing transport rules and regulations, and promote the development of the digital travel economy in the city.
