Guanshanhu district hands out 184 commendations to companies

The Guanshanhu district of Guiyang – capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province – handed out commendations to 184 companies on Feb 18, in recognition of their excellent performances in taxation and industrial development.

The recognition aims to encourage the healthy and rapid development of resident companies – allowing Guanshanhu to become a district with industrial strength and advantages, vigor, a livable environment and general happiness in the wider community.

In 2021, Guanshanhu's GDP reached 70.69 billion yuan ($11.09 billion), ranking it third in Guiyang. The district's industrial added value was 5.12 billion yuan and total retail sales came in at 34.65 billion yuan.

Last year, per capita disposable income of Guanshanhu's urban and rural residents increased by 9.3 percent and 10.4 percent, respectively, ranking it first in Guiyang.

The district also won a title as one of China's top 100 districts with most investment potential in small and middle cities, underlining that it has become an ideal place for companies to invest.

Moving forwards, plans are for Guanshanhu to continue to enhance project and talent cooperation – based on the operational situation of resident companies and their development strategies – and transform industry supply chains into industry clusters.
