Guanshanhu plans factory construction this year

The Guanshanhu district of Guiyang – capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province – plans to start the construction of 11 standard factory projects in 2022, covering a total floor area of 1.1 million square meters.

Some 700,000 sq m of that is expected to be completed within the year.

Currently, six projects are under construction, which will cost 4.41 billion yuan ($698.98 million) and cover a total area of 766,000 sq m.

The projects will be constructed by State-owned companies, rural collectives and with social capital. In the second quarter of the year, another five projects covering 400,000 sq m will start construction.

Guanshanhu is said to have established an effective construction mechanism with one construction plan, one flow diagram, one procedure checklist, construction key points and risks for each project.

The district is understood to have arranged for its officials and departments to efficiently schedule the projects and ensure they are constructed on time.
