The Guanshanhu district of Guiyang – capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province – launched a talent base for modern manufacturing skills on Feb 16.
The facility, located to the west of automaker Geely's manufacturing complex in Guiyang, is expected to train vehicle manufacturing personnel for the province.
The center covers a total floor space of about 6,600 square meters and has three floors of training areas, classrooms, conference halls, seminar rooms, offices and cafes.
It can train more than 2,500 people related to the manufacturing industry every year. All the staff and teachers are from Geely Group and Geely's Guiyang manufacturing complexes.
This is the third of such centers established to date in Guanshanhu.
