Guanshanhu district in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, received 14,000 visitors during the Spring Festival holiday from Jan 31 to Feb 6, achieving 85 million yuan ($13.37 million) of tourism revenue.
To provide a comfortable and convenient tourism environment for tourists, Guanshanhu improved its culture and entertainment facilities, launched tourism promotional activities, and improved its tourism services before the Spring Festival.
During the holiday, Guanshanhu planned lightshows and shopping festivals as well as introduced tour routes online to promote tourism.
Guanshanhu's bureau of culture, sports, radio, television, and tourism inspected the pandemic prevention and safety protocols in 120 culture and sports venues to ensure security during the holiday season.
