Guanshanhu district in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, has been approved as one of Guizhou's five pilot districts and counties for the high-quality development of science and technology services.

The district has started the construction of a "3+N" supermarket system for technological innovation policies. The system will include one technology policy supermarket that offers online product policy searches and orders, provides technology needs for enterprises and individuals, and will set up a technology policy consultation service platform for market entities.

The system will have one technology innovation service team formed by university experts and professors. It is also expected to attract experts who are skilled at project planning, financial management and technology brokerage. The team will provide technology services for enterprises, especially those major in technology.

The system will also establish one project and talent pool and aim to cultivate various companies focusing on technological innovation.

As Guiyang's only district approved as this type of pilot zone, Guanshanhu will cooperate with local companies to further technological innovation.

By 2023, the "3+N" system will serve more than 80 technology firms and cultivate more than 20 small and medium-sized technology enterprises.

By 2024, the system will be mature and serve more than 100 technology companies, and will have cultivated more than 50 registered small and medium-sized tech firms.
