Guiyang's Guanshanhu district in Southwest China's Guizhou province has been making great efforts to speed up the development of electronic information manufacturing, ecological specialty food, and automobiles — the three key industries in the district.
The district built a large number of standard factory buildings this year to support the expansion of the three industries.
According to statistics, the standard factories completed this year cover a total land area of 209,800 square meters. Those still under construction will cover 50,200 sq m and are expected to be finished by the end of this year.
After being put into use, the factory buildings will mainly serve key industrial sectors as the district is striving to advance new-type industrialization during the 14th Five-Year Plan period (2021-25).
Guanshanhu district currently has one electronic information manufacturing enterprise above designated size that completed the industrial output value of 757 million yuan in the first 10 months of this year, accounting for 8.56 percent of the total industrial output value of the district.
This year, Guanshanhu district cultivated three enterprises and projects that are expected to achieve the designated development scale, and signed four projects that prove to be good market prospects.
To establish industrial advantages, Guanshanhu district will focus on the development of intelligent hardware equipment including intelligent unmanned system equipment and smart home appliances.
It has set a goal of establishing an electronic information industrial cluster with an industrial scale reaching more than 16 billion yuan by 2025.
In the meantime, Guanshanhu will continue to expand and strengthen the automobile industry with Geely as its leader, support other enterprises to broaden their terminal sales channels, upgrade products, and develop new car models.
Guanshanhu expects that the localization rate of supporting auto parts will reach more than 50 percent.
The district also set up a new-type industrialization headquarters on June 8 to help enterprises solve problems concerning production and operation as well as logistics and transportation.
