Guanshanhu establishes science publicity team

The Guanshanhu district of Guiyang – capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province – established a science publicity tutor team on Nov 26 and a doctorate workstation for Guizhou Open University was reportedly also launched on the same day.

The science publicity tutor team was co-organized by the Guanshanhu district, an innovation workshop for the AVIC Guizhou Engine Design Institute's Guiyang branch, Guizhou Open University, the Guiyang Vegetable Society and the Guiyang Agriculture Society.

It consists of high-end talent and volunteers from related fields, organizations and associations. The team will reportedly give publicity to high technology achievements and environmental protection – as well as to food safety, health and disaster prevention and reduction in schools, rural areas and communities.

The doctorate workstation was co-established by the Guizhou Doctor Association and Guizhou Open University.

It is believed that some innovative and influential professors, academics with doctorates and experts with high academic qualifications have joined the workstation and will contribute to Guanshanhu's talent attraction and the integration of its industries, universities and research institutions.
