Guanshanhu holds free health clinic at Mid-Autumn Festival

The Guanshanhu district of Guiyang – capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province – on Sept 18 opened a free health clinic at Bihai Leifeng Square to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival.

The activity was designed to improve people's health awareness. During the clinic, medics answered people's questions on health problems and provided advice on how to maintain their good health.

The event also promoted knowledge on health laws and regulations, prevention of hypertension and diabetes and on healthy diets, as well as provided consultations on common illnesses and chronic diseases.

The free clinic provided consultations for more than 100 people, performed sugar tests and took the blood pressure of more than 80 people and distributed over 1,500 health promotions leaflets.
