Guanshanhu district of Guiyang – capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province – reportedly signed a cooperation agreement with Huaxia Bank's Guiyang branch on Sept 7.
The agreement is expected to bring mutual benefits to both sides and allow them to establish a stable and close commercial relationship.
Huaxia Bank's Guiyang branch is located in Guiyang's finance city and it opened for business in 2016. To date, it has been responsible for introducing more than 52 billion yuan ($8.03 billion) of funds to Guizhou.
As a core area of Guiyang, Guanshanhu has experienced strong economic growth in recent years and is reportedly continuing to optimize its structure so it becomes the political, economic, cultural and transport center of Guiyang.
The aim is for Huaxia Bank's Guiyang branch to continue to provide funds and expand services for the district.
