A delegation led by Wu Kunling, deputy head of Guanshanhu district – located in Guiyang, capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province – recently undertook a roadshow to attract funding from businesspeople and investors in Hangzhou, capital of East China's Zhejiang province.
During the July 19-20 marketing drive, Wu gave briefings on Guanshanhu's location and resources, as well as its prime industrial foundations. She urged Zhejiang companies to invest and start up business in the district and promised the district would provide top-flight services.
The delegation visited the Hangzhou operations center of local company ZEDEV, in order to gain knowledge about its operations. ZEDEV is an emerging enterprise which develops, manufactures and sells pure electric vehicle assembly systems, electric drive assembly systems and vehicle control assembly systems.
Representatives from both sides discussed potential new energy vehicle projects in Guanshanhu, and Wu said she hoped the company would help the district to become a future new energy automobile industry cluster.
During a visit to Hangzhou Kaierda Welding Robot Technology Co Ltd on July 20, delegation members visited its plants and gained an insight into its product research and development plans – with the district also holding discussions on a potential partnership.
Kaierda is a high-tech company mainly engaged in manufacturing welding robots and industrial welding equipment. Its products are widely used in industries including the automobile sector, medical equipment and fitness equipment.
Moving forwards, plans are for Guanshanhu to extend its links with Zhejiang's enterprises, as well as to provide a better business environment and attract more lucrative projects.
