Two companies from the Guanshanhu district of Guiyang – the capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province – showcased their latest high-tech products and applications at the 2021 China International Big Data Industry Expo.
The big data expo, which ran on May 26-28 in Guiyang, set up four exhibition halls for international companies – as well as for frontier technologies, digital applications and intelligent industries – to display the latest technologies and products in the application of big data.
The stand for Guanshanhu-based Guizhou Chemi Technology Co at the digital applications exhibition hall attracted numerous visitors. There, they were able to get an idea of the future development trends of urban road traffic through an interactive experience area.
In 2017, the company launched a smartphone app to allocate vacant parking spots. Currently, the app is working with about 100 parking lots and covering more than 40,000 parking spots in Guiyang. Users can share and book parking spots through the app.
According to Yang Nan, chief marketing officer, the company has now distributed operation sites in more than 90 percent of the urban areas in China.
Not far from Chemi was the stand for Guizhou Xingdaxing Building Materials Co – also based in the district. Its big data cloud platform for high-performance concrete has been selected in national demonstration projects, becoming a leading example of the arrival of the industrial internet in the province.
To date, the platform has been used by nearly 80 manufacturers inside and outside the province.
