Guanshanhu district opens first 3A-level scenic spot

The Tongyuan Automobile Park has been approved as a national 3A tourist spot, becoming the first of its kind in the Guanshanhu district of Guiyang city – capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province – according to the district's bureau of culture, sports, broadcasting and tourism.

The park has an experience center for some of the world's top automobile brands, an automobile exhibition center, a professional racing circuit and an automobile culture park. It reportedly integrates traditional tourism with an automotive experience.

Plans are for the park to cooperate with Guizhou Geely Automobile Manufacturing Co to create special tourism routes featuring auto manufacturing and services – to improve the interactivity of traditional scenic spots.

According to local officials, the park will be equipped with five-star hotels, exhibition centers and a variety of support facilities to establish a new benchmark for the integrated development of the automobile and tourism industries.
