To improve the road conditions and the streetscape around the Guiyang Institute of Surveying and Mapping, the Guanshanhu district of Guiyang – capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province – launched an on-site investigation on March 2.
Because the surrounding Taolin Road is deemed too narrow for traffic to flow fluidly, the deputy head of Guanshanhu district discussed with municipal government department leaders the need to plan for major improvements.
Further work on improvements to road conditions will continue and departments engaged in road design and construction reportedly need to participate in achieving the goal of providing a better traffic environment for the public.
