Over this year's Spring Festival holiday from Feb 11 to 17, Guanshanhu district in Guiyang, the capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, had 193,800 visits, an increase of 124.5 percent year-on-year. The district generated tourism revenue of 115 million yuan ($17.78 million), increasing 173.8 percent year-on-year.
Guanshanhu launched various online and offline tourist products and services to meet people's needs during the holiday.
The district also checked all of the pandemic prevention and control, security, emergency response and fire control equipment ahead of the holiday to ensure citizens would enjoyed a safe Spring Festival.
