Guiyang's 'most popular choice' souvenirs of 2020 unveiled

A total of 18 tourist commodities won the title of "2020 most popular choice Guiyang souvenirs" during an award presentation ceremony and exhibition and sales activity held at Yunshang Fangzhou Square in Guanshanhu district, Guiyang, on Oct 30 and 31.

The contest saw the participation of more than 400 products, with 227 selected to partake in the 65-day online voting period. The online voting website received more than 610,000 visits, and netizens cast nearly 150,000 ballots.

A total of 100 products were chosen to be featured during the final on-site expert selection.

Tourist goods such as cultural and creative products, ornamental collectibles, local foods, tea, wine, drinks and health products gained wide attention. Activities such as a runway show were also held to publicize Guiyang's outstanding cultural and creative tourist commodities.

Going forward, Guiyang's bureau of culture and tourism will promote award-winning products via sales activities and shopping catalogs.
