According to local officials, industrial enterprises in Guanshanhu have suffered varying degrees of losses in 2020 due to the COVID-19 outbreak. To help enterprises get through these tough times, the industry and information technology bureau of Guanshanhu district established a leading group for work resumption and production, helping enterprises solve the difficulties in employees return, nucleic acid testing, logistics and transport, as well as ensuring epidemic prevention supplies.
Officials said the bureau promoted supporting policies to enterprises through QQ and WeChat groups, bringing more than 6.5 million yuan of financial aid to 32 enterprises in the first half of the year.
Officials said that the development of the district's automobile industry got back on track and saw steady growth in May. Data showed that Guizhou Geely Auto Co and its supporting enterprises achieved an output value of 499 million yuan in May, up 0.4 percent year-on-year. Geely's industrialization project achieved a monthly production of 8,000 vehicles for the first time in June.
