The human resources and social security bureau of Guanshanhu district in Guiyang has made full use of its resource advantages to coordinate with training institutions to provide skills training for rural laborers in Jianhe county in Southwest China's Guizhou province, helping the county's poverty alleviation efforts through employment assistance, according to local officials.
Officials said that five training institutions in Guanshanhu district signed cooperative agreements with the county to provide skills training for positions like an excavator operator, electrician, welder, a forklift operator, a Chinese cuisine cook, and a housekeeper.
According to the agreements, designated training institutions will organize teachers and provide equipment to Jianhe county, comprehensively improving the quality of vocational skills training and the employment prospects of impoverished laborers. The training institutions will also ensure the qualifications of each trainee for the job upon the completion of their training.
In addition, the training institutions will strengthen their connection with the human resources and social security bureau of Guanshanhu district to broaden the channels of employment and to provide more job opportunities.
