The human resources and social security bureau of Guanshanhu district in Guiyang has organized enterprises to carry out online skills training for employees to help the resumption of work and production during the novel coronavirus pneumonia (COVID-19) epidemic, according to local officials.
In order to ensure the normal practice of employee training during the epidemic, the bureau adopted online training methods and notified enterprises on related policies through telephone, QQ groups, its official WeChat account, and government website.
Officials said that the bureau formulated skills training guidelines to help enterprises understand the related subsidies and policies. It also assisted enterprises in formulating online training programs and enriching online training resources.
According to Huang Junfeng, an official of the bureau, the online training was mainly for major enterprises in the district, such as Yonghui Superstores Co Ltd and Guizhou Geely Automobile Parts Co Ltd.
"The content of the online training involved informationabout COVID-19 epidemic prevention and control, health and hygiene, safety production, discipline systems, as well as general vocational skills. A total of 30 training courses are conducted through the enterprise's own online platform or a third-party online platform," he added.
To date, more than 80 enterprise have consulted the bureau on matters related to online training and a total of 11 enterprises have carried out online skills training for employees. The bureau is expected to finish the online training for 12,000 employees by the end of June.
