Guiyang and Guian New Area in Southwest China's Guizhou province hope to promote green development through afforestation, carbon emission reduction, energy conservation and environmental protection, according to a news conference held on Jan 9.
Yanshanhong town in Baiyun district and Yongjing town in Xifeng county of Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, become the first towns in the city to be recognized as provincial park towns on Jan 5.
