Xifeng hospital forms pediatric care alliance with provincial hospital

Xifeng County People's Hospital has signed a specialist alliance agreement with the Children's Medical Center of the Affiliated Hospital of Guizhou Medical University. The two sides also held a training session in Xifeng on standardized diagnosis and treatment of pediatric kidney and rheumatic diseases.

Using the medical center's expertise in clinical practice, technology, and management, the partnership will establish a long-term cooperation mechanism to improve pediatric care through technical guidance, professional training, academic exchanges, and clinical support.

Experts from the affiliated hospital delivered lectures tailored to the needs of primary-level healthcare providers, covering common and complex conditions such as nephrotic syndrome in children, juvenile idiopathic arthritis, and the diagnosis of hematuria in children.

They explained standardized treatment protocols, differential diagnosis, nursing care, and health management, offering practical guidance to help local pediatricians address challenges in clinical practice.

A representative of Xifeng County People's Hospital said it would use the alliance as an opportunity to deepen cooperation with provincial-level medical institutions, strengthen specialty development, improve clinical skills, and standardize medical service procedures.
