Xifeng county has been accelerating the development of a battery materials industry cluster in recent years, promoting an integrated layout that links phosphorus, lithium, battery materials and recycling. The county is now home to six related enterprises, covering key segments such as iron phosphate, lithium iron phosphate cathode materials, electrolyte production, and battery recycling.

Inside the workshop of Kairui Technology Co, a subsidiary of Guizhou Phosphate Chemical Group, machines roar continuously as frontline workers operate forklifts and transport vehicles in a busy and orderly manner.

"Our six iron phosphate production lines are operating simultaneously, with an average daily output of 230 metric tons," said Yang Tongshan, head of the company's production technology department. "With strong order reserves, our products are sold to markets in Sichuan, Anhui, Hubei, and Jiangsu. We are working at full speed to ensure on-time delivery."

Kairui Technology focuses on the research, development, and production of new energy battery materials. Last year, it completed and put into operation projects with an annual capacity of 50,000 tons of lithium iron phosphate and 60,000 tons of iron phosphate. Together with its battery recycling project already in operation, the company has established a closed-loop industrial chain featuring "production-use-recycling-reproduction", forming a green and circular development model.

The company is expected to reach an annual capacity of 70,000 tons this year, creating stable employment for more than 1,000 people.
