Xifeng county achieves full rural express delivery coverage

Xifeng county has achieved full coverage of express logistics services across all rural areas within its jurisdiction, earning a 5A rating in the comprehensive evaluation of urban-rural transport integration.

The county has explored an integrated development model combining rural passenger transport, freight logistics, and postal and express services in recent years. Efforts have focused on unifying infrastructure, transport distribution, and passenger services between urban and rural areas.

Xifeng has built two county-level logistics sorting centers and upgraded township passenger stations into integrated transport service hubs, including four township-level stations and 161 village-level service sites.

A collaborative delivery model has been established, led by local logistics companies with postal services providing backup support. Eight major courier brands, including SF Express and JD, are participating in coordinated distribution, ensuring 161 villages in the county are served by at least three courier brands.

In addition, all 20 rural passenger routes have introduced customized logistics delivery services, operating an average of 10 trips a day and enabling same-day delivery to rural areas.
