Relying on Xifeng's Miao Intangible Cultural Inheritance Center, she has launched embroidery training programs to cultivate local embroiderers and advance the transformation of traditional craftsmanship into a market-oriented industry.
Liu began learning Miao embroidery at the age of 14 and has dedicated decades to refining her skills. The center now integrates training, exhibitions, and sales, attracting visitors and buyers from both China and abroad while helping residents increase their incomes.
Some of Liu's works, including festive lanterns and embroidered garments, won first prize at a provincial competition for intangible cultural heritage projects on embroidery and paper-cutting.
Her works were also showcased at the 2017 Malta-Colorful Guizhou Cultural and Arts Festival and Guizhou Intangible Cultural Heritage Exhibition.
