Xifeng showcases scientific talent in county-wide competition

The final of the 2025 National Scientific Literacy Competition of Xifeng county was held on Dec 26, bringing together six teams and 18 contestants from across China for an engaging showdown of scientific knowledge and skills.

The competition covered a wide range of topics, including general science, life and health, technology and information, as well as earth and environmental sciences, providing a comprehensive test of participants' scientific literacy.

The final consisted of three segments: video-based questions, quick-response questions, and risk challenge questions. In the video round, contestants answered questions based on popular science clips. During the quick-response round, teams competed in speed and accuracy. In the risk challenge round, participants tackled more difficult and high-scoring questions.

The contest was marked by intense competition and lively moments, with outstanding performances drawing frequent applause from the audience. After a series of closely contested rounds, the Jiuzhuang Township People's Government team won first prize, the Yongjing Primary School team took second place, and the second team from Xifeng County No 1 Primary School secured third place.
