Xifeng plans out new culture, tourism model

Xifeng county is advancing the development of a modern cultural expression system.

The Long March National Cultural Park (Xifeng's Wujiang River Scenic Area) Plan and the Xifeng County Tourism Industry Development Plan (2025–2035) have been implemented. In the Wujiang River Scenic Area, the Red Culture Touring Exhibition Complex has completed preliminary site selection, and five sightseeing boats have been purchased for the "Red Journey on the River" project. These boats will allow visitors to experience both the red history and the dramatic scenery of the Wujiang Gorge.

Aligned with the countywide tourism development plan, 108 key projects with a total planned investment of more than 20 billion yuan ($2.83 billion) are planned, serving as an important guide for investment promotion and project advancement.

At the same time, progress has been made in the compilation of the Xifeng Chronicles, with over 200 historical photos restored and more than 300,000 words from historical materials collected and organized.

Townships are hosting folk performances and cultural activities, enabling visitors to experience Xifeng's unique cultural charm and everyday vitality.
