Xifeng improves schools' educational conditions

Xifeng county has continuously increased its investment in education since the beginning of this year, upgrading campus environments and improving schooling conditions in both urban and rural areas.

The new campus of Xifeng No 3 Middle School, built with a total investment of 198 million yuan ($28.02 million), officially opened on Oct 9. All 27 classes and more than 1,300 students have moved in, marking the start of a new chapter in their school life.

Covering 75,000 square meters, the new campus features fully functional teaching buildings, a standard track and field, and modern educational facilities. With 89 teachers, it provides 1,800 junior high school placements, effectively addressing the previous issues of limited space and inadequate facilities.

Xifeng No 2 Middle School, with its 46-year history, invested more than 6.9 million yuan this year to enhance its campus environment. "Our school is greener now, and I'm really happy to study in such a beautiful environment," said Zhou Ziyan, a ninth-grade student.
