The county established two sub-centers – Yanglongsi and Jiuzhuang township health centers – which together conducted 126 basic surgical procedures and increased outpatient visits by 32 percent. All 10 township health centers developed at least one specialty department. Among them, the pulmonary specialty in Shidong township recorded more than 4,000 annual visits, while several other specialty clinics saw a 45 percent increase in patient volume, marking a notable enhancement in grassroots service capability.

All 12 major medical institutions in the county have been certified as age-friendly hospitals and have provided 1,600 health examinations for elderly residents. In childcare services, the county has opened 19 childcare institutions offering 1,130 nursery slots, helping ease the childcare burden for working parents.
