A futuristic white autonomous delivery vehicle has made its debut in Xifeng county, drawing the attention of many passersby.

The vehicle transports ZTO Express parcels from the county's logistics center to various delivery stations. Despite its compact size, the vehicle boasts a payload capacity of up to 800 kilograms, the ability to carry 600 parcels at a time, and a maximum range of 140 kilometers on a full charge.

It performs exceptionally well, offering round-the-clock service and easily navigating complex urban conditions. It can handle narrow streets, select optimal routes, avoid obstacles, and efficiently adapt to rush-hour traffic.

Equipped with an L4-level autonomous driving system, multiple LiDAR sensors, and 11 cameras, the vehicle operates as though it had its own "eyes". It can accurately recognize traffic lights, lane markings, and obstacles, ensuring precise and reliable deliveries even in challenging road conditions.

Thanks to this autonomous delivery vehicle, transportation costs for moving parcels from transfer stations to community hubs have been reduced by an estimated 50 percent.

More autonomous delivery vehicles will be introduced to improve delivery efficiency and enhance convenience for residents.
