As winter approaches, nothing is more inviting than a hot spring getaway. Nestled amid lush green mountains at the Nanshan Tianmu Hot Spring Resort in Xifeng county, Guiyang, small steaming pools dot the landscape like natural gemstones.

Zhang Wanning, a Shanghai visitor, immersed herself in a hot spring, feeling the warmth surround her in a soothing embrace. "It's as if every droplet is gently massaging my skin, melting away the day's fatigue," she said contentedly.

The hot spring water is drawn from a 2,500-meter-deep natural mineral spring. This spring is rich in radon, strontium, selenium, metasilicic acid, and other minerals and trace elements, making it one of the world's top three radon springs. It offers significant wellness benefits, making it a key attraction for visitors.

Zhang Feng, general manager of the hot spring resort, explained that the resort uses its abundant hot spring resources to enhance its wellness offerings, creating three health-focused experiences: hot spring wellness, forest wellness, and traditional Chinese medicine wellness.

Since the beginning of this year, the resort has received 116,124 visits and 18,344 room stays. Among the many out-of-province visitors, Shanghai tourists have become one of the primary guest groups. "This winter, we'll introduce various discounts and activities like brain-teaser challenges and parent-child adventure games to enrich the visitor experience," Zhang added.
