A series of free medical consultation events took place in Baozi village, Yanglongsi town in Xifeng county, to improve the health and well-being of residents and ensure their access to quality healthcare close to home. More than 10 healthcare professionals from Xifeng County People's Hospital delivered care and compassion to the community.
At the event, medical staff provided services such as blood pressure and blood glucose checks and vision exams, offering one-on-one health consultations and tailored treatment advice. They also distributed materials on disease prevention, patiently explaining health tips such as "sun exposure aids sleep" and the ideal foot bath temperature. They encouraged villagers to adopt healthier lifestyles, including balanced diets and regular checkups, to facilitate early disease prevention and treatment.
The village health consultation events allowed residents to receive free medical services right outside their homes, significantly reducing the time and financial burdens of traveling to major hospitals.
The event saw over 200 patient visits, addressing villagers' health issues through direct consultations, health education, disease screenings, and prevention guidance. This initiative tackled healthcare challenges and enhanced villagers' health awareness and preventive practices.
