In the first three quarters of this year, the GDP of Xifeng county in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, rose to 14.08 billion yuan ($1.98 billion), a 9.2 percent increase compared to the same period last year.
The added value of primary industries reached 2.26 billion yuan, up 4.4 percent; secondary industries reached 5.45 billion yuan, up 16.9 percent; and tertiary industries hit 6.38 billion yuan, up 4.9 percent. The three industries' added value contributed 16.0 percent, 38.7 percent, and 45.3 percent to the county's GDP, respectively.
