Xifeng renovates residential areas to create more livable living environment

At the renovation site for Section A of Kailin New Town in Xifeng county, workers are toiling day and night to complete the project as quickly as possible.

Kailin New Town and the dormitory area of the power supply bureau, both built many years ago, suffer from outdated infrastructure, dirty and deteriorating environments, and blocked rainwater and sewage systems, which has affected residents' quality of life and hindered overall urban development.

To create a more livable, convenient, and comfortable living environment, Xifeng has prioritized the renovation of Kailin New Town Section A and the power supply bureau dormitory as a key project in 2024.

This project involves two residential areas with a total of 228 households, focusing on upgrading infrastructure, improving the environment, constructing rainwater and sewage networks, and transforming public spaces. Specific measures include upgrading water, electricity, and drainage systems, enhancing green spaces, adding recreational and fitness facilities, and improving fire safety. The goal is to create a modern community offering diverse functions, a beautiful environment, and a high level of safety.

As of now, the renovation of the building corridors has been completed, and work is underway on rainwater and sewage pipelines, as well as rooftop waterproofing.
