The Guizhou session of the 2024 China International Big Data Industry Expo – currently being held in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province – unveiled two series of five digital cultural and tourism collectibles from Xifeng county, Guiyang. These include three themed on red culture and two from the "Nanshan Block World" series.

Digital collectibles are unique ownership certificates anchored to physical items through blockchain technology. They are immutable, indivisible, and released in limited quantities, aiming to provide a trustworthy and authentic experience for digital issuance, purchase, use, and collection. Digital collectibles are currently gaining in popularity and have become a rising force in the domestic cultural and creative sector.

The five digital collectibles are now officially available on the "Qian · ShuCang" platform. These collectibles can be obtained for free upon registration, with no commercial rights attached. Each collectible is limited to 103 editions. Additionally, the "Nanshan Block World" series includes complimentary park tickets and accommodation benefits.

"Choosing these two series as the pioneering digital collectibles offers a new way to empower cultural and tourism attractions with technology and boost the cultural tourism industry in Xifeng county," said Wang Yunchuan, chairman of Xifeng Cultural Tourism Development Co.

The release of these five digital collectibles across two series allows Xifeng's cultural and tourism attractions to engage with new-age consumers in a digital context, further enhancing the Red Xifeng brand, telling the Xifeng story, bringing the classic Red Xifeng IP to life, and making it more dynamic and popular.
