At the Xifeng State-owned Forest Farm in Xifeng county, Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, the continuous mountains are covered with forests, where dense trees intertwine to form a green sea.

Established in 1958, the forest farm now oversees six forest management districts. It covers a total area of 1,827.72 hectares, with 1,749.01 hectares designated as forest land and 78.71 hectares as non-forest land.

The average altitude of the forest farm's jurisdiction ranges from 900 to 1,500 meters, with an annual average temperature of 21.5 C. The dominant tree species include pines, firs, and broad-leaved trees.

In recent years, Xifeng State-owned Forest Farm has been actively adhering to the development philosophy that "lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets". It has enlisted enterprises to utilize its current forestry resources and develop the under-forest economy in a location-specific manner. This approach has created jobs for surrounding farmers and increased their incomes.
