Xifeng's GDP increases 9.4% in H1

In the first half of this year, the GDP of Xifeng county in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, exceeded 8.94 billion yuan ($1.25 billion), an increase of 9.4 percent year-on-year.

The added value of the primary industry was 1.19 billion yuan, an increase of 4.5 percent compared to the same period last year; the added value of the secondary industry was 3.45 billion yuan, up 17.4 percent compared to the same period last year; and the added value of the tertiary industry was 4.31 billion yuan, growing 5.2 percent year-on-year.

The proportions of the added value of the three industries in GDP were 13.3 percent, 38.5 percent, and 48.2 percent, respectively.

During the period, the total output value of agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry, and fishery was 2.01 billion yuan, an increase of 4.3 percent year-on-year, while fixed asset investment increased by 9.2 percent year-on-year.

In addition, the per capita disposable income of urban permanent residents was 26,301 yuan, up 4.6 percent year-on-year, while the per capita disposable income of rural permanent residents was 10,194 yuan, growing 7.5 percent year-on-year.
