Xifeng county in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, has utilized its rich cultural and natural resources to develop three new innovative tourism models.
"Red tourism" : Create new engine for tourism growth
Centered around the Xifeng Concentration Camp Memorial Hall, the county has developed specialized courses focused on revolutionary culture and rural vitalization, attracting a large number of visitors. The memorial hall and related revolutionary bases hosted over 200 tour groups from January to April this year.

Hot springs: Set new standard for mid-to-high-end consumption
Xifeng county has drawn many visitors through online promotions, giving full play to its abundant natural hot springs. Nanshan Tianmu Hot Springs, a premier destination in the area, continues to expand its facilities, introduce new businesses, and host large-scale events, positioning itself as a benchmark for mid-to-high-end consumption in the county.

Rural tourism: Chart new path for idle farmhouse revitalization
Xifeng county has repurposed vacant farmhouses into charming homestays, fueling the growth of the hospitality industry. To date, 118 farmhouses have been renovated to provide visitors with comfortable accommodations. This initiative has increased local farmers' income and boosted sales of specialty agricultural products, fostering a sustainable tourism ecosystem.
