The base covers an area of approximately 28 mu (1.87 hectares) and has an investment of 15 million yuan. It includes eight factory-style breeding workshops, 1,017 2-meter diameter breeding ponds, as well as supporting facilities such as management buildings, environmental protection facilities, water supply and drainage systems and power systems.

"The base is expected to generate over 40,000 yuan annually for the village collective economy and will create temporary employment opportunities for over 100 local residents, with an estimated income boost of around 600,000 yuan in total," said Guan Mingqun, secretary of the Shengli village Party branch in Xishan town.

In recent years, Xishan town has been actively promoting ecological aquaculture tailored to local conditions, paving a new path for rural vitalization and increased incomes for farmers. The town has already developed over 100 mu of ecological aquaculture breeding areas.
