The Sixth Xiwang Mountain Trail Running Race, a part of the 2024 Guizhou Mountain Running Series, was held on March 23 in Luwo village, Xishan town, Xifeng county, Guiyang. A total of 1,048 runners from across China participated in the event.
In addition to the race, the event also featured a roadside music festival, flower viewing hikes, and local product exhibitions, further expanding the event's influence.

The event included 51 km, 35 km, 21 km, and 8 km races, with separate competitions for men and women. Runners hailed from various provinces and cities, including Beijing, Fujian, Guangdong, Guangxi, Hubei, Hunan, Yunnan, Sichuan, Chongqing, and Guiyang.
Launched in 2016, the Xiwang Mountain Trail Running Race is the first trail running event in Guizhou to be certified by the International Trail Running Association. Over the years, it has become a hallmark event for Xifeng county.
To ensure a successful event, Xifeng authorities have focused on coordination in competition organization, medical assistance, transportation and volunteer services, providing the athletes with warm and attentive support.
Combining natural beauty with sports, the Sixth Xiwang Mountain Trail Running Race started at Luwo village's cultural plaza. The course traversed the eight scenic spots of Xiwang Mountain, allowing runners to experience the mountain's natural beauty, blooming spring flowers, cultural relics, and rural charm.
