Hot springs in Xifeng wow visitors during holiday

In recent years, soaking in hot springs has become a popular way to relax both physically and mentally while enjoying the beauty of nature.

On Feb 17, according to the "2024 Chinese New Year Big Data Report" released by Mafengwo, searches for "hot springs" during the Chinese New Year holiday increased by 201 percent compared to the previous period, with hot springs in Xifeng county included on the top 10 list of most popular hot spring destinations.

Xifeng boasts abundant hot springs, with over 2,000 metric tons of natural mineral water flowing daily at temperatures ranging from 53 C to 56 C.

On Feb 10-17, the Xifeng Nanshan Tianmu Hot Springs welcomed nearly 20,000 visitors, averaging around 2,000 visitors per day, with a majority being local families from Guiyang.

Xifeng Nanshan Tianmu Hot Springs is a large comprehensive hot spring tourism resort that integrates hot spring health preservation, ecotourism, family entertainment, dining, accommodation, and commercial streets.

The outdoor hot spring area covers approximately 28,000 square meters, sourcing all its water from natural mineral springs 2,500 meters underground, which is known for its clean water and excellent health benefits.

In recent years, the Guiyang bureau of culture and tourism has focused on its natural resources, customer base, and services, introduced new "hot spring+" experiences to support Guiyang's wellness industrial chain, enriched its autumn and winter tourism offerings, and enhanced Guiyang's reputation as a refreshing city.
