During the Spring Festival holiday on Feb 10-17, Xifeng county in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, was filled with a strong festive atmosphere, with the cultural and tourism consumption market remaining hot. Preliminary estimates indicate that during the holiday, Xifeng received 304,200 tourists, generating tourism revenue of 177 million yuan ($24.4 million).
The Xifeng Concentration Camp Revolutionary History Memorial Hall effectively fulfilled its role as a national patriotic education base over the holiday, organizing a series of volunteer service activities focused on red cultural education.
From the fourth to the eighth day of the Lunar New Year, a free public performance was held at 11 am, allowing visitors to experience and immerse themselves in red culture.

The Nanshan Brick World Scenic Area was one of Xifeng's liveliest attractions over the holiday, as people poured in for the many Chinese New Year festivities on offer. Leveraging its rich cultural and tourist attractions, the scenic area hosted the intangible cultural heritage dragon lantern festival and amusement fair, attracting numerous visitors.
Also, the Nanshan Tianmu Hot Springs planned and launched a series of activities including live performances, cultural and creative markets, guessing games, and tea ceremonies around a stove, allowing visitors to enjoy their holiday to the fullest.
