Xifeng smart parking project to soon start operations

Once operational, the project will enable automated parking with autonomous driving, help alleviate traffic pressure in the vicinity, and cater to the parking needs of the public for medical visits, commuting, and errands.

The project primarily utilizes flat mobile parking equipment. Drivers can swipe a card on the touch panel at the entrance before parking. The lift will automatically move to the entrance, allowing the driver to park on the platform before confirming the operation and leaving. The parking process is simple, taking no more than two minutes.

After parking, the backend terminal determines the parking location based on space availability. An intelligent transporter then automatically moves the vehicle to the designated spot, completing the parking process.

When retrieving the vehicle, the driver or on-duty personnel can swipe a card at the exit. The intelligent transporter will move the car to the exit, allowing the driver to leave once the automatic door opens.
