Xifeng selected as national rural vitalization demonstration county

The list of national rural vitalization demonstration counties in 2023 was announced by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs on August 29. After local recommendations and expert reviews, 100 counties made the list, including Xifeng county in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province.

The list aims to give full play to the leading role of demonstration counties to move forward in rural vitalization and drive the regions' development.

Moving forward, efforts by Xifeng will be made to ensure food security and grain supply, develop rural industrial chains, broaden channels for farmers to make money, and improve the rural environment, infrastructure and public services.
