In recent years, Longtang village in Xifeng county has been growing prickly pears with great success.

So far, the village has planted over 900 mu (60 hectares) of prickly pear. The yield of more than 400 kilograms per mu is expected to generate more than 1 million yuan ($137,200) in income for the village.

With the arrival of the prickly pear harvest, some leading enterprises and individual industrial and commercial enterprises have come to purchase the fruit.

In addition, the village's prickly pear deep processing industry has begun taking shape, and related products such as prickly pear preserved fruit, prickly pear juice, prickly pear wine have been put on the market.

The village has invited some internet celebrities to sell these products online.
