Xifeng accelerates construction on new industrial park

The Printing and Dyeing Circular Economy Industrial Park project, located in Xifeng county, Guiyang, is currently under construction. The project is being developed by Guiyang Industry Control Industrial Park Construction and Operation Co.

The main focus of current construction work is to build standardized factories for the printing and dyeing industry. It will also build supporting projects, such as the co-generation of heat and power project and a sewage treatment plant.

The ongoing first phase of the printing and dyeing project covers an area of 468 mu (31.2 hectares) and has a planned investment of 1.60 billion yuan ($223.86 million). Once in operation, it will have an annual fabric printing and dyeing capacity of 500 million meters. 

Upon completion, the industrial park is estimated to generate around 2,000 jobs and contribute to an overall output value of 20 billion yuan by promoting the development of downstream industries such as clothing and home textiles.

This will also fill the gap in Guiyang's printing and dyeing industry and play a crucial role in complementing the city's textile industry.

In parallel, the co-generation of heat and power project and sewage treatment plant project will provide heating and sewage treatment guarantees for the industrial park. The co-generation of heat and power project will be capable of supplying about 4.08 million metric tons of heat per year and about 660 million kilowatt-hours of electricity annually. It will generate an annual output value of approximately 1 billion yuan and create about 200 new jobs.

The sewage treatment plant is projected to cost 490 million yuan, with a designed treatment capacity of 30,000 tons of sewage per day. It will collect and treat all industrial and domestic wastewater in the park, promoting its sustainable development.

Currently, Guiyang Industry Control Industrial Park Construction and Operation Co has urged the construction unit to increase manpower and material investment in order to speed up the park's construction.
