Rental housing for talents helps Xifeng retain gifted people

The rental housing in Liuchang town of Xifeng county, Guiyang, Southwest China's Guizhou province, is expected to be leased to talents in June this year, with all the furniture in place in these apartments.

"The rental housing can accommodate 95 high-quality personnel," said Chen Deeping. The rental housing in the town includes 46 apartments, with a total construction area of 5,500 square meters. Each apartment is renovated with a water heater, a bed, a wardrobe, a sofa, a table, and other necessities.

In 2022, the county invested 132 million yuan ($18.96 million), planning to build 303 such apartments, including 46 in Liuchang, 69 in Luwo, 120 in Wenquan, and 68 in Yanglongsi towns. Currently, 115 apartments in Liuchang and Luwo towns are ready to receive talent.
