Xifeng sees robust tourism recovery

As a festive mood permeated across the streets of Xifeng county, Guiyang, Southwest China's Guizhou province, the Spring Festival holiday spurred consumption and enthusiasm for travel.

Tourists from outside the county flocked to local scenic spots, and were greatly impressed by the county's unique revolutionary tourist attractions, rich customs, and colorful recreational activities.

Xifeng revamped its culture and tourism attractions just before the holiday began by launching the Nanshan Tianmu Hot Spring scenic spot and promoting it online and offline to boost holiday purchasing activities.

Statistics show that during the week-long festival, Xifeng received 149,800 tourists, a year-on-year increase of 42.59 percent, including 136,500 of whom participated in one-day tours and 13,300 of whom stayed overnight in the county.
