The taxation bureau of Guiyang's Xifeng county has stepped up efforts to build effective communication channels via telephone, online platforms and WeChat in order to better serve the public.
The bureau offers online guidance and remote video consultation to improve tax services and help enterprises with tax problems.
Meanwhile, Xifeng's tax authority has launched grid-based services, with special personnel analyzing and promoting relevant preferential policies, helping taxpayers who qualify for the policies but have not applied, and offering door-to-door services to those unfamiliar with tax declaration in a bid to ensure eligible enterprises enjoy the benefits of the favorable tax policies.
"The services are more convenient. We can ask tax-related questions through WeChat and receive online guidance via video and screen sharing for complicated matters without going to the tax bureau," said Wu Min, a company tax agent of Xifeng tax bureau's services.
The tax authority will work with the local federation of industry and commerce to further assist in the implementation of preferential tax policies, provide small and medium-sized enterprises with comprehensive services and boost their sustainable development.
