County focuses on tourism promotion

Xifeng county in Guiyang, Southwest China's Guizhou province has rolled out measures to boost local tourism.

Enterprises and units operating Xifeng's tourist resorts and scenic spots are advised to register on the provincial tourism digital platform and upload detailed information about the attractions. So far, 24 such business operators have registered on the platform, reporting 19,302 reservations and 2,332,274 visits.

The county will also strengthen the construction of tourist commodity bases. To date, Xifeng has seen one tourist goods exhibition and sales center and two tourist shopping demonstration venues established. Xifeng plans to create a provincial-level cultural and tourist commodity base by 2023.

In addition, the government will work harder to construct tourist spots and apply for special-purpose bonds for tourism.
